Recipe for Making Kue Bingka Kentang (Potato Cake)

Kue Bingka Kentang is one of the traditional cakes Banjar people. Usually found at the time of Ramadan. The manner and process of making the typical potatoes bingka Banjar different cakes from other regions. Ingredients:
  • 150 Gr. potato, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 500 cc thick coconut milk from 1 grain of coconuts, boiled until cooked then chill
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp butter

How to make:
  1. Stir until blended mashed potato, coconut milk with sugar, vanilla and butter
  2. Meanwhile beat eggs until dissolved, then pour it into the batter and mix well
  3. Grease a baking dish with the butter and heat the bingka over the stove. Pour batter into baking dish potato bingka with a lid on it on the Gimme charcoal. Cook over low heat a dialasi a piece of zinc for 30 minutes or until cake is cooked
  4. Remove and chill new pieces to taste.
